John Murdoch
John Murdoch is the former President of the Military Chaplains Association of the United States of America, and former Director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Ministry for the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. He has been serving with the Indiana State Police since 1991 and with the Howard County (Indiana) Sheriff’s Department since 2014. Chaplain Murdoch has extensive training in disaster relief and law enforcement chaplaincy from the Chaplains department of the Indiana State Police and Sheriff’s Chaplaincy Conference of Indiana. He has completed the basic course of the International Conference of Police Chaplains as well as numerous courses from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the United States Air Force Auxillary Civil Air Patrol, and the Ohio Crime Prevention Association. He has been CISM certified (Mitchell Model) since 2000. He is a member of the Ohio Crime Prevention Association. Chaplain Murdoch holds the D.Min. degree from Great Plains Divinity School, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He and his wife Hope live in Kokomo, Indiana, and are members and commissioned by Bible Baptist Church in Kokomo.
Laird Baldwin
Laird Baldwin is pastor of Bible Baptist Fellowship, Brookville, Ohio. He serves as Chaplain and crime prevention representative for Perry Township Police Department (Montgomery County). He also serves with Police And Clergy Together, Dayton Police Department, Dayton, Ohio. He is a member of the Miami Valley Crime Prevention Association and the Ohio Crime Prevention Association. Chaplain Baldwin received the 2013 Optimist Club Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award, the 2014 MVCPA Member of the Year Award, and a Citizen’s Citation Award from the Dayton Police Department (2013). Chaplain Baldwin is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute (’72), Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio (’75), and Temple Baptist Seminary, Cincinnati, Ohio (’91). He holds the D.Min. degree from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, Shreveport, Louisiana (’04). Chaplain Baldwin and his wife Belinda make their home in Dayton, Ohio.
